Aflac For Maternity Leave

THE BABY EMMA. Abbie Taylor

Thirteen months after giving birth, the twentysomething Emma Turner decides to give yourself a day away from home and spend Sunday with his son Ritchie doing some shopping and strolling in the parks and waterways of eastern London. But, when fatigue and darkness is invited to return, a subway station becomes the beginning of the worst nightmare that a mother can live.
Ritchie has disappeared, kidnapped by a woman who only knows your name, Antonia, and the detective in charge of the investigation seems more interested in Emma's personal problems than in finding the child. Was the transition from university brilliant single mother with financial problems too much for her? What if the depression had led to harm her own child? After several days of anguish, Emma decides it can only rely on one of the witnesses in the case, former police Rafe Townsend.
Emma's baby, the debut novel of Abbie Taylor, is a psychological thriller that grabs the reader and offers no respite. With the terrible backdrop of the kidnapping of children, the author reveals a deep understanding of the ambiguities and obscurities of the human soul.
